Among the first clients were PT Adaro Indonesia and PT Berau Coal. In 2002, shareholders and management agreed to gradually transfer all operational activities including manpower and assets to PT Sapta Indrasejati or SIS as it is commonly known today. The following years were characterised by rapid growth and expansion and SIS not only increased its mining capacities for its existing clients but also added new clients such as PT Kurnia Buana, as well as PT Interex Sacra Raya and PT Borneo Indobara, to our portfolio. SIS is a highly integrated mining service company and we offer a whole range of mining solutions from exploration to exploitation as well as transport. We understand that every client's conditions vary and therefore we always carefully analyze a clients' requirements and then tailor a bundle of services that precisely matches our clients' needs and expectations. In every aspect of our operations we provide services that are on par with the services rendered by international mining contractors. In fact we often surpass their level of services and this has promoted us to start offering our services not only in Indonesia but regionally too. At the moment our mining activities are predominantly in the sector of coal mining but with our expertise and equipment we are also able to provide mining related services to other open pit mines.
